1968-10-10 Grateful Dead San Francisco CA - All jams. Not all members of the Dead. And no idea why I want to listen to it. 1985-06-07 Prince St. Paul Prom Center - Supposedly upgraded. This was a big deal when he performed after retiring from live performance for, I don't know, like 3 months. Crazy set. Very listenable. 2010-08-29 Chemical Brothers Hollywood CA Hollywood Bowl - Crowdy and sounds very outdoorsy, so kinda distant. And really... some dude is asking the taper for a bottle opener for his chardonnay? Seriously? 2010-11-02 Experience Hendrix Buffalo NY University of Buffalo Center for the Arts - Lots of different artists, including Living Colour, paying Hendrix tunes. So basically a bunch of guitarists trying to out-guitar each other. Flawless recording though. 2010-10-27 Roger Waters St. Paul MN Xcel Energy Center - The only local Pink Floyd related show I've missed. Enough said... and a pretty hot show! 2010-11-07 Prince Brussels Belgium Viage - 160+ minute aftershow. Perfect sound. I have to admit, much better than the more recent aftershows that I've listened to, but still not like classic Prince. 1975-04-10 Pink Floyd Seattle WA Seattle Center Coliseum - Nice show. Great DSOM. Really good sound. 1978-12-31 DEVO New York City NY Avery Fisher Hall - A bit of a messy recording. Not super clear. 2010-11-23 OMD Amsterdam Holland Paradiso - Finally. A 2010 show! Sound is good enough, but I'd like a bit more dynamic range. Not crowdy. 1970-08-02 Miles Davis Nassau Bahamas CBS Records Convention - A nice short (25m) soundboard. You'd think it would sound better though. 2010-08-17 Fatboy Slim Ibiza Space - Banging! 1970-02-14 The Who Leeds UK University of Leeds Refectory - The infamous Live at Leeds show, now complete with Live at Hull! 40th anniversary edition official release. Great sound... looking forward to listening to Hull, which is supposed to be a better performance according to the band.
