05/04/2010 Entry: "2010 IBM Impact-Inner Circle: Day 1"

So many people that I haven't seen for a long time. IBMers and past associates. And like any IBM conference, lots of food, drink, product announcements, and basically good time all around. From an actual conference perspective, things have really been cut back. Some dude I've never heard of was the MC, instead of Drew Carey or Billy Crystal as in years past. No big name concert Tuesday night, nor is there a special theatre event on Wednesday night. Oh well. Technology wise, I've been inspired to pitch some new things at work. I've been working one some licensing gaps with my local team. And in the next day or so, we'll talk new technology. Just about everything else I can't talk about due to NDA (as usual), but the new technologies look very interesting.
