Entry: "Concerts I've listened to, April 2009"
2008-10-10 Prince New York City Gansevoort Hotel - Off-tour show. Excellent sound. Very loose. Nothing super spectactular in the show... now on to the aftershow. OK, I have to admit, that even over 4 hours of music across 3 sets, this show really holds up. Oh sure, it's not like back in the day, but it's pretty solid.

1985-02-23 Prince Los Angeles CA Forum - Crazy long show with Bruce Springsteen and Madonna performing with Prince on Baby I'm a Star. MUCH better sound than I've heard in the past. Must be a soundboard. Last three songs take 53 minute. Nice. The middle part of the Purple Rain shows are so boring though...
1996-09-05 Nine Inch Nails New York NY Irving Plaza - "Night of Nothing" NIN, Prick and PWEI. Soundboard off of a promo tape. How come I've never seen that. I've had a very crappy tape of this show for years (probably 12). Probably not the best band Trent's had, but a very unique show.

1983-09-02 Talking Heads Berkeley CA Greek Theater - Similar to the Stop Making Sense setlist, but much earlier in the tour I believe. First of all, fantastic recording. Amazing performance. Truly the height of ArtRock!

1992-12-04 David Gilmour Cali Columbia - Seriously, I never knew this existed. 4 songs, including You Know I'm Right. Sloppy gig, but a good listen. Also included Dave playing behind Roger Daltry.
