05/21/2005 Entry: "Day 7: IBM zBLC in Montpellier"

Today was the last day. And most of it was spent with various workgroups giving updates. All in all, I think that it was a good event and probably worth my time. I had some good shopping and wandering around after going back to the hotel to change. FNAC is like Best Buy, but with everything in French, oddly enough. Lots of cute little shops around time. We finally got a time to sit in the plaza and watch people. For dinner we returned to a place we went to on Sunday, and normally that would bother me, but it was very good steak (swimming in butter, olive oil, and pesto) and awesome fries.

I'm all packed and ready to go. I need to get up at 5am (which will be 10pm in Minneapolis) to catch my 6.55am flight. If all goes as planned, I will be posting this from Amsterdam some time after Noon (local time). And then it's a nice long flight home.
