I order a spice on September 9, 2007 and was promised a deliveriy by September 12. It didn't come. I tried to contact Amazon. They don't only NOT POST the phone number they also have three different teases for a phone number. They put you in a endless loop. I finally got some filthy little crap from Indian whom I could barely understand. Oh, yes, this was the second time I cancelled the order. Today Amazon told me the previously cancel order was on the way. By the way, Amazon said I order from a vendor and I should contact the vendor since Amazon was "not your merchant". I told them I was not drawing a salary from Amazon to chase down their slovenly merchandizing. I simply see the best way to deal with Amazon is not to deal with Amazon. Treat these arrogant little bas tards with disdain and avoid them as they plot their way to the poor house. CompUSA just went out of business along with all kinds of business in the last few years. They did so because of their mistreatment of customers.

This is where I usually go to get all the Amazon.com contact information as they include a bunch of customer service numbers and even some for Canada along with various email addresses for everyone of importance.

I have waited over 6 weeks for my item (ordered 12/14/05). I called yesterday and they said that I have to wait longer and that my estimated shipping date has not passed. (My estimated shipping date was pushed back at least once, maybe twice)
Today I called as my estimated shipping date passed and "Not Yet Sent" still was in bold letters--I was told that they ordered the item from their supplier, but COULD NOT tell me WHEN they ordered it from their supplier and that it would take 4 to 6 weeks from TODAY for them to receive the item in their facility...then they will send it to me.
the person i spoke with said that it could very likely be 3 MONTHS from the time that I ordered the item to the time that I receive it. Lucky I didn't order a newspaper from them.
Oh yeah, the website still lists my "estimated delivery date" as Feb 6th--yet the person on the phone said that amazon will most likely not even have possession of the item for 4 to 6 weeks. Gotta love efficiency warehouse management.

I called the number and the man I talked to was incredibly rude. He didn't help me out at all. They took over a week to process my info and they should have shipped my item in 24 hours. I wanted faster shipping and they wouldn't give it. I ordered from them because I knew I'd get something in time for a birthday and since they took their sweet time I missed the birthday. (Faster shipping would have got it here in time). Even when you call they just don't care.

Oh yes, no number to find anywhere. Thank you for providing for me!!! I mentioned the same thing to the lady about "where is the number at the website." She didn't say a word.

being unable to find my way thru Amazon's web page, their 800 phone tells me that I can order only on the web.(It was only a $60 book, so I guess it's too small an item to be bothered with)

The wrong item was sent to me and I've been trying to get the product that I paid for for months now. I found your site when I did a google search for Amazon's phone number and suddenly, in a matter of minutes, my claim is resolved. Thanks for putting out there. I asked the customer service rep where on the site it is, and she said it's really hard to find because they don't want people calling, instead they prefer email. What the #$%@!?
Anyway, Thanks again!

I looked for 45 minutes on their "help" page for a phone number as they divided my order into two and then wouldn't show both parts of the order! Anyways, when I got ahold of them through the phone number listed on your page I asked the lady on the phone where on their website I could find their number and she said, "it's listed in 10-15 different places although I don't know the exact location." YEAH RIGHT, TELL ME ANOTHER ONE!!

I have been trying for 3 days to return an item to Amazon.com. I've accessed their "returns" link on their website, and at the end of processing the return, I get a message thanking me and that my request will be processed in 4 to 7 days, however, a few seconds later, I get a e-mail stating that I have contacted an address that cannot accept incoming e-mails. I've tried this 3 times with the same result. Thank you for providing the customer service number. Although, I must point out that if you follow their voice mail in returning an item via the telephone, you will get the same e-mail as mentioned above! How incredible is that!!! I was finally able to speak with someone and I'm hoping that my return will finally go through. It's been an hour and I have not received an e-mail confirmation of that, so I'm not so sure. I will never order anything from Amazon ever again!!!
