12/14/2001 Entry: "Bootleg DVD"

I got my first Bootleg DVD this week. It's from Gilmour's London show this summer. Complete show, sound check, even an autograph session as "bonus" materia. One small problem though... DVD-R discs won't play in my 3 year old Panasonic DVD player. Whoops. I guess this means that we will need to get a new one even sooner.

So, I haven't seen the DVD yet... I plan to watch it a someone's house. It's kind of a bummer, but that what it's like now-a-days. There certainly were not any issues when I got my first bootleg CDs or CD-Rs for that matter.

Labdv.com has a nice database of what players have issues with DVD-R, DVD-RM, etc.
